About Nanami
Most Australians carry car, home, health, and life insurance — but ask them what they're actually covered for, and very few can answer with confidence. Nanami is built to change that.
Insurance is one of the most important purchases most people make, yet it's also one of the least understood. Policies arrive as dense PDFs, renewals sneak up without warning, and it's nearly impossible to see your whole picture at once. People end up over-insured in some areas, dangerously under-insured in others, and largely in the dark about what would actually be covered when something goes wrong.
We think that's fixable.
Nanami is an insurance intelligence platform. You upload your policy documents — PDFs, certificates of currency, schedules — and Nanami reads them for you. Key details are extracted automatically: insurer, policy type, coverage amounts, excess, renewal date, and what's included or excluded.
From there, Nanami builds your portfolio view: your cover in one place, with renewals tracked on a timeline so nothing catches you off guard. The platform analyses your policies for coverage gaps (things you might not be protected against) and overlaps (things you're paying for twice), and flags anything that deserves a second look.
You can also ask Nanami questions about your cover directly — "am I covered for a flood at my home?" or "what's the excess on my car policy?" — and get a plain-English answer drawn from your actual documents.
